Not for the faint-hearted, Negresco - located in Deansgate, Manchester - is a kooky affair with kinky neo-gothic, Kubrick-esque décor. Named after an infamous historic hotel in the south of France, Negresco serves superb Italian/French cuisine. The stylish interior - featuring red lanterns, candlelit banquettes, moody black walls and taxidermy has a naughty-private-members-club vibe, and is a memorable setting for dates and private dinner parties.
